Overview
Sermorelin (GHRH 1-29 NH₂) is a synthetic 29 amino acid peptide comprising the biologically active N-terminal segment of endogenous growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It acts directly on pituitary somatotroph cells to stimulate endogenous GH secretion in a physiologically regulated manner. As the shortest fully active GHRH fragment, Sermorelin is a foundational research tool for studying the GHRH receptor, somatotroph function, and the hypothalamic-pituitary-somatotropic axis.
