Overview
Melanotan II (MT-II) is a synthetic cyclic heptapeptide analogue of α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH) that acts as a non-selective agonist at melanocortin receptors (MC1R, MC3R, MC4R, MC5R). Originally developed at the University of Arizona as part of melanocortin receptor research, MT-II has been extensively studied for its potent effects on pigmentation, sexual function, appetite, and energy homeostasis. Its broad MC receptor activity makes it a valuable pharmacological tool for receptor specificity research.

Melanotan II arrived on dry ice, reconstituted without issues. Our research results are consistent with published literature on MC1R agonism.
