Overview
GHRP-2 (Growth Hormone-Releasing Peptide-2) is a synthetic hexapeptide and potent agonist of the ghrelin/GHS-R1a receptor. It is among the most efficacious GH secretagogues in its class, inducing strong GH pulses through both direct pituitary stimulation and hypothalamic GHRH release. GHRP-2 is frequently used in research as a reference compound for GHS-R agonism studies and is commonly paired with GHRH analogues to investigate synergistic GH release pathways.
