This page explains how we research, write, test, and correct what we publish, so you can judge the content on its method rather than our word.
Why this page exists
Most vendor content in this space is written to sell, then dressed up to look like reference material. We’d rather be judged the other way round. Every guide here is meant to be useful to a researcher first, and the way to earn that trust is to be transparent about how the content is produced and where its limits are. If a claim isn’t sourced or measured, it doesn’t belong on the page.
How we test what we sell
Identity and purity claims mean nothing without third-party data. Each lot we list is tested by Janoshik Analytical, an independent laboratory, by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). We publish the result, the task number, and the batch code, for each lot, rather than asking you to trust a single screenshot from us. The full dataset, including the lowest result, lives on our purity data page, and every certificate is collected on the lab results page.
One point of honesty most pages skip: our current testing is commissioned through our supplier, Peptide Pole HongKong. As our volume grows we plan to commission Bastion-branded testing across the catalog. We say that here rather than imply a capability we don’t yet have. How we write the guides
Our research guides follow a few fixed rules:
- State what the literature establishes, and what it does not. Every compound guide includes an explicit section on what the published research does not support. The point is to describe how a peptide is characterized in research, not to imply outcomes that haven’t been shown.
- No fabricated specifics. We do not invent studies, numbers, dates, quotes, or citations. Where a figure matters, we link to the real data. Where evidence is thin, we say so.
- Mechanism and structure over marketing. Guides describe sequence, structure, receptor pharmacology, handling, and verification in plain terms, with the research-use-only framing kept throughout.
- Honest limitations are part of the product. A page that only contains flattering claims is a sales asset, not a reference. The limitations are what make the rest credible.
Corrections and updates
Research moves, and so do batches. When a new lot is tested, the relevant number is the new certificate, not an old one, and we update the data accordingly. If you spot an error, a stale figure, or a verification link that no longer resolves, tell us and we’ll fix it. A dead certificate link defeats the entire purpose of publishing one, so those get priority.
What this content is not
It is not medical, veterinary, or dosing guidance, and it is not a recommendation to administer any compound to humans or animals. Purity is one axis of quality; it is not sterility or endotoxin status, which are separate tests. A certificate is strong evidence for a tested batch, not an individual guarantee for every vial. We keep those distinctions visible because blurring them is exactly how this category earns its bad reputation.
